What a Wednesday

Hi to all! Well, it is Wednesday and we had quite a busy day! Carter, Kinnick and I went to Algona and met two gals I used to work with for lunch at the Family Table. It is always interesting taking the two boys to a restaurant because they are just so active. It was nice that I had two extra sets of hands to help me out! It was also nice to catch up with Kim and Missy. After lunch we went to K-Mart to pick up a few things that we needed and Carter decided that he did not want to ride in the cart. He wanted to walk. Well, that was a lot of fun. He picked out at least 10 graduation cards that he thought we should buy and threw them in the cart. He really liked to push the cart and Kinnick laughed when he did. It was pretty cute. Both boys fell asleep on the way home and I managed to get them in the house and into their beds without waking them up. That was nice. We had visitors come over to see us this afternoon. Jody and her new baby (3 weeks old) Brennan stopped over to visit. It was great to see them. It is crazy how fast children grow up. I cannot believe how tiny Brennan was and how big Kinnick looks to me now. He is not a baby anymore, he is turning into a toddler. After our visitors left the kids played outside for a little bit and then we came in the house to eat supper. After supper we watched Jonah, a Veggie Tales movie. It was cute and the kids all liked it. As I was getting the kids ready for bed Grandpa Adkins called me to give an update on how Grandma Adkins is doing. He really just needed someone to talk to and I was happy that he called. Grandma is in the hospital in Carroll and really is struggling to breathe. Please keep Adam's grandma in your prayers. Well, I suppose I should fold a load of laundry before bed. Love, Steph and family
